Agricultural Engineering graduate specialised in Agri-food industries ( University of Santiago de Compostela), Master in viticulture and oenology from EVEGA, and with a family tradition in growing and making wine, he joined Bodega Pazo de Villarei and Bodega Alanís in 2003.
In Pazo de Villarei, cradle of Albariño, Guillermo Alvarado has taken great care to create wines with a unique expression while following the purest tradition of the area.
"We use ageing on fine lees because we think this is the best way of enriching the aromas of the variety even more, guaranteeing an exclusive expression. In this way, Terra D´Ouro transmits its youth with great personality, it is lingering with a very pronounced finish. Aromas which recall ripe apples and tropical fruit. Creamy, lively and long.” |
